First Reconciliation and First Communion

Holy Cross offers preparation(Sacramental Sessions) for Reconciliation and Communion to children, in 2nd grade and higher.  They MUST be in their 2nd consecutive year of religious education.  The preparation is in addition to to the regular religious education class.

Sacramental Sessions are interactive and at least ONE parent is required to be with the child/youth the entire session.  

Students must prepare and recieve Reconciliation prior to Communion preparations.  Attendance at all of the sessions is required.

Currently our sessions are offered on Friday and advance registration is required. 

2011-2012 Sacramental Sessions are as follows:

Reconciliation:  October 7, 14, 21, 28 and November 4th

Communion:  January 6, 13, 20 and 27th, 2012

Optional Retreats:  April 13, 20. 27. May 4th and 11th, 2012

Communion Practice:  May 5, 2012

First Communion will be celebrated May 12 and 13, 2012

COMMUNION PREPARATION HAS ALREADY BEGUN FOR THIS YEAR.  SIGN UP FOR ALL THOSE NOT CURRENTLY IN PREPARATION WILL TAKE PLACE IN AUGUST 2012
